Same-sex Couples Are Now Eligible for FECA Benefits


According to FECA Bulletin No. 14.01, issued on December 12, 2013, the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in U.S. v. Windsor ruling Section 3 of DOMA’s unconstitutional; means that legally married same sex couples are now eligible for FECA benefits.
