Alan J. Shapiro - Born 1938; Admitted to practice 1962; University of Michigan, B.A.; Case Western Reserve University School of Law, J.D.; Cleveland State University School of Law L.L.M.; Certified Workers' Compensation Specialist. Admitted to practice law in all State of Ohio courts, United States District Court for Northern Ohio, and the United States Supreme Court. Expert witness in workers' compensation cases for both plaintiffs and defendants. Martindale AV rated.

Geoffrey J. Shapiro -  Born 1961; Admitted to practice 1988; B.A. University of California, Berkeley; J.D. Boston College Law School. Admitted to practice in all State of Ohio courts, United States Supreme Court; all courts of the State of California; United States District Court for the Northern District of California; and Court of Appeals Ninth Appellate District. Geoffrey has tried over one hundred cases to juries over his career.  He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of civil matters including, workers' compensation, personal injury and insurance bad faith claims.  In 2012 and then again in 2015 he was voted "Best Attorney" in Cleveland, Ohio for claimant's workers' compensation.  Since 2001 Geoffrey has been handling Federal Workers' Compensation claims before the United States Department of Labor.  Geoffrey teaches continuing education courses to professionals and non-lawyers in the area of expert witness testifying skills. Martindale BV rated.

Daniel L. Shapiro - Born 1965: Admitted to practice law in 1992; John Carroll University B.S.B.A; J.D. Cleveland State University Cleveland-Marshall Collage of Law. Dan practices workers' Compensation law, Fair Housing law, Collection Defense law and litigates Violation of Specific Safety Requirement claims Dan has been working with Alan Shapiro in the area of Workers' Compensation since 1988.

Attorney Alan J Shapiro is a member of Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG). Attorney Shapiro supports this non-profit organization dedicated to representing the interests of millions of workers and their families who, each year, suffer the consequences of workplace injuries and illnesses. The group acts principally to assist in advocating the rights of injured workers through education, communication, research, and information gathering.

WILG works everyday to make sure that as the challenges that face injured workers change, WILG evolves to meet those new challenges. Workers’ Injury Law and Advocacy Group has grown into an important, national voice for workers.
