With over 50 years of experience practicing law, attorney Alan J. Shapiro has an extraordinary level of experience in many practice areas. Attorney Shapiro has a nationwide practice helping injured federal workers with workers’ compensation matters relating to work place injury. He works extensively with matters involving the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs (OWCP). He works tirelessly helping injured federal workers navigate the OWCP and Federal Employee Compensation Act (FECA) claims process.

Alan J. Shapiro has a great deal of experience helping Longshore and Harbor Workers with their injury claims. He represents civilians injured while working on military bases or while on contract overseas with Defense Base Act claims.
