Your job is to do what is necessary to return to work as soon as possible. OWCP believes that they “own” you when you are receiving Workers’ Compensation payments. They are of the opinion, that you cannot go to an amusement park; go on cruise; play sports; take a vacation trip or hunt alligators. There is even some question as to whether you can do normal life activities such as taking out the garbage; cutting the grass; picking up your children at school.
